The included v2.01 Proteus X Composer bank comes with over 1000 presets covering an immense range of sounds from the Proteus 2000 MIDI sound module. In addition, Proteus VX can load any sounds from the Emulator X library, as long as they can be loaded into system RAM (Sample-streaming not supported on Proteus VX). Proteus VX is not copy.

The only downside, is that you have to subscribe to EMU's e-mail-newsletter to download the thing, but you can always unsubscribe later right?
I've gone through a bit of the bank, and it's pretty similar to the composer bank I have on plain ol' Proteus X I got with the Xboard, but they have tweaked a few of the settings a bit. Also, not needing any kind of 'Dongle' is a nice thing. As with other Proteus software, it can run stand-alone, or as a VST.
There's quite a few usable sounds in the collection for sure, and it can open my other Proteus X banks as well. Seems a little less processor intensive on my end too, but maybe I'm just imagining things. :P
